DJ on a Dime happens the first Wednesday of the month at The Beaver in Toronto (1192 Queen Street W).
It is a open-format night for vinyl enthusiasts who like a challenge.

RULE #2: YOU CAN ONLY SPEND $10 ON THE RECORDS YOU SPIN DURING YOUR SET!
DJ sets will be judged on uniqueness, originality, cohesiveness, and - most important of all - daring!

The receipt thing is to encourage people to go out and do some fresh buys - not just picking through their collection and valuing whatever they want to play at $10. The fun is all in the challenge!
